At Wondrhost, we are committed to delivering premium, high-performance hosting solutions, robust server licenses, and meticulous setup services. We believe in transparency and establishing clear expectations with our clients from day one.

This Comprehensive Refund Policy outlines the exact terms, conditions, and procedures under which refunds are granted or denied. By purchasing any product or service from Wondrhost, you explicitly agree to the terms laid out in this document, as well as our overarching Terms of Service (ToS) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

Due to the diverse nature of our offerings—ranging from instantly provisioned digital licenses to labor-intensive hardware deployments—our refund eligibility varies significantly by product category.

2. The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Eligible Hosting Only)

We stand behind the reliability of our network and server infrastructure. To provide peace of mind to new clients, Wondrhost offers a strict 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee on specific hosting services.

2.1 Eligible Services

The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to the first-time purchase of the following base hosting services:

  • Shared Web Hosting Plans
  • Mini Hosting Plans
  • Managed WordPress Hosting Plans
  • Cloud Hosting Plans
  • Reseller, Master Reseller, and Alpha Reseller Hosting Plans
  • Virtual Private Servers (VPS)

2.2 Guarantee Parameters

If you are dissatisfied with an eligible service, you must submit a formal cancellation and refund request within exactly seven (7) calendar days (168 hours) from the exact timestamp of your account's initial activation. Requests submitted after this 168-hour window will be categorically denied without exception.

How Refunds are Calculated:

Refunds under the 7-day guarantee cover the base hosting fee only. If your purchase included a "Free Domain," the standard retail cost of that domain registration will be deducted from your total refund amount, and you will retain ownership of the domain. Gateway transaction fees are non-refundable (See Section 6).

3. Strictly Non-Refundable Products and Services

Certain products and services provided by Wondrhost involve immediate financial commitments to third parties, instant digital delivery, or extensive manual labor. Therefore, the following items are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:

A. Dedicated Servers

The provisioning of a Bare Metal Dedicated Server involves significant manual labor, hardware allocation, and immediate bandwidth commitment. Therefore, all Dedicated Server deployments are final. No refunds, prorated or otherwise, will be provided for Dedicated Servers, regardless of whether the cancellation request is made within the first 7 days.

B. Software & Server Licenses (Addons)

Wondrhost provides various third-party and shared software licenses. Because these are digital goods that are generated, issued, and activated instantly upon payment, they cannot be returned or revoked. All license purchases are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • cPanel & WHM Licenses (VPS and Dedicated)
  • LiteSpeed Web Server Licenses
  • CloudLinux OS Licenses
  • Imunify360 & CXS Security Licenses
  • JetBackup Licenses
  • Virtualizor Licenses
  • Softaculous & Sitepad Licenses
  • WHMReseller & WHMXtra Licenses

C. Domain Names

Domain name registrations, domain transfers, and domain renewals are processed instantaneously through global ICANN-accredited registries. Once a domain is registered, the fee is paid to the registry and cannot be reversed. Therefore, domain purchases are entirely non-refundable. You will retain full ownership and control of the domain name for the duration of its registration period.

D. Professional & Setup Services

Payments made for manual technical labor are non-refundable once our engineers have commenced work. This applies to:

  • Server Setup Services (e.g., cPanel installation, LiteSpeed configuration, Security Hardening).
  • Hosting Website Setup Services (e.g., WHMCS integration, theme installation).
  • Paid Website Migration Services.
  • Custom coding, debugging, or server administration tasks.

E. Additional Non-Refundable Items

  • Dedicated IP Addresses.
  • Premium/Paid SSL Certificates (e.g., RapidSSL, Wildcard SSLs purchased separately).
  • Funds added to the Wondrhost Client Account Credit Balance.

4. Exclusions and Voided Guarantees

Even if a service falls under the "Eligible Services" category (Section 2.1), the refund guarantee is entirely voided under the following conditions:

4.1 Terms of Service (ToS) Violations

If your account is suspended, terminated, or restricted due to a violation of our ToS or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), you forfeit any right to a refund. Common violations that void refunds include, but are not limited to:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (Spamming).
  • Hosting phishing sites, malware, or engaging in fraudulent activities.
  • Copyright infringement or DMCA violations.
  • Intentional CPU/RAM resource abuse or crypto-mining.
  • Initiating a DDoS attack or being the frequent target of DDoS attacks due to high-risk hosting activities.

4.2 Serial Sign-ups & Abuse of Policy

The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee is strictly limited to one (1) per client, individual, business entity, or IP address. If you have previously purchased a service, claimed a refund, and subsequently sign up again, your new purchase is non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse refunds to clients whom we suspect are abusing the refund policy to obtain free temporary hosting.

4.3 Renewals and Upgrades

The money-back guarantee applies only to the initial, first-time order of a service. Service renewals, upgrades, and downgrades are completely non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your service prior to your renewal invoice due date if you no longer wish to continue using Wondrhost.

Important Note on Bundle Purchases:

If you purchase a bundle containing both refundable and non-refundable items (Example: Purchasing a VPS Server alongside a cPanel License), only the cost of the VPS Server is eligible for the 7-day refund. The retail cost of the cPanel license will be deducted from your total refund, and the license will be terminated upon cancellation of the server.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage all clients to contact our billing department directly to resolve any billing disputes or request eligible refunds. Initiating a chargeback, dispute, or claim with your credit card provider, bank, or PayPal constitutes a severe breach of our Terms of Service.

If a chargeback or dispute is filed:

  • All services associated with your account will be immediately suspended without warning.
  • Your account and data may be permanently terminated.
  • You will be liable for a ₹2,500 (or $30 USD) administrative dispute fee per chargeback filed, in addition to the original owed amount.
  • Wondrhost reserves the right to submit your account details to third-party collection agencies and fraud databases.

6. Payment Gateway Fees and Currency Fluctuations

When a refund is processed, Wondrhost refunds the base price of the eligible service. However, third-party payment gateway transaction fees (e.g., fees charged by Razorpay, PayPal, Stripe, or your bank) are strictly non-refundable and will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Furthermore, Wondrhost is not responsible for any discrepancies in the refunded amount resulting from currency exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of the refund.

7. Cancellation and Refund Request Procedure

To request a valid refund under this policy, you must complete the following exact steps. Failure to follow these steps within the 7-day window will result in the denial of your request.

  1. Log in to your secure Wondrhost Client Area.
  2. Navigate to Services > My Services and select the specific service you wish to cancel.
  3. Click the "Request Cancellation" button. Briefly describe your reason for cancellation (this helps us improve our services).
  4. Select "Immediate" as the cancellation type.
  5. Once the cancellation request is submitted, you must open a Support Ticket directed to the Billing Department explicitly stating that you are invoking your 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Note: Simply abandoning your account, removing your credit card on file, or failing to pay a renewal invoice does not constitute a formal cancellation or refund request.

8. Refund Processing Timelines

Once your formal refund ticket is received, our billing department will review it to ensure it meets all eligibility criteria.

  • Internal Review: Please allow up to 48 hours for our team to review and approve your request.
  • Gateway Processing: Once initiated by Wondrhost, the refund will be sent back to your original payment method.
  • Bank Timelines: Depending on your payment provider (Credit Card, UPI, PayPal, Net Banking), it may take anywhere from 5 to 15 business days for the funds to actually reflect in your bank account or statement. Wondrhost has no control over these banking delays.

If we are unable to refund via your original payment method due to gateway limitations, the refund will be credited to your Wondrhost Client Account Balance, which can be used for future purchases.

9. Modifications to this Policy

Wondrhost reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior direct notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this URL. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revisions were made. Continued use of our services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such modifications.
